The Peleș National Museum is pleased to announce the launch of the novel "Teino Kor" by Genovel-Florentin Frățilă, an event that will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in the Hall of Honor of Pelișor Castle. This launch is part of the series of events that the institution is dedicating this year in homage to Queen Maria of Romania.
An author with a rich literary activity, Genovel-Florentin Frățilă is a member of ROMANIAN KUKAI and the European Haiku Society. His work includes volumes such as "Picuri de rouă" (2012), awarded the diploma for the best debut volume at the "Primăvara Poeților" and the First Prize at the "Art & Life" competition (Tokyo, 2014), as well as the volumes "Şirul lui Fibonacci" (2016) and "Poeme Haiku" (2020).
The novel "Teino Kor", published in 2022 by Creator Publishing House, was awarded the First Prize at the 4th edition of the "Ioan Slavici" National Literature Competition, awarded by the prestigious "Tribuna" magazine in Cluj. The volume is dedicated to Queen Maria of Romania, an emblematic figure who identified with the people over whom destiny destined her to reign and understood their being. "Teino Kor" is a historical fiction novel that discusses the fundamental themes of humanity - universal principles found in the great books of humanity. The book marks the path of man in search of the Higher Self and the path to "home", in the light from which he is created. With the wisdom of a modern initiate and a profound culture, the author takes his reader through different eras, from the teachings of Zamolxis – initiated in the great Eleusinian mysteries dedicated to Demeter and Persephone, the one who gave the Dacians, from the sacred space of the Bucegi Mountains, the Belagine Laws – to the modern era. Giani, the central character of the second part of the book and an alter-ego of the author, reclaims himself from the Geto-Dacian world and, nowadays, on an initiatory journey of self-discovery, meets various masters and spiritual guides.
