The National Military Museum "King Ferdinand I", in collaboration with the Peleș National Museum, is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition "Mihai I - a century of history", on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in the Hall of Honor of Pelișor Castle.
The organization of the exhibition marks Royalty Day and is part of the celebration of the Centenary of the "King Ferdinand I" National Military Museum, highlighting the special connection of King Michael I with the Romanian Army, but also with one of the places of his childhood, Peleș Castle.
The public will be able to admire images, personal objects of the sovereign, as well as objects dating from the reign of King Michael I, located in the patrimony of the National Military Museum "King Ferdinand I" which holds some of the oldest and most developed collections of photographs, documents, uniforms, weapons, harnesses and pieces of harness, orders and medals, sculptures. The exhibition also enjoys the collaboration of collector Daniel Cosmin Obreja.
The exhibition "Mihai I - a century of history" will be open to the public from May 10 to October 31, 2023, and can be visited free of charge, from Wednesday to Sunday, as follows:
Wednesday: 10:00 – 15:30 (last entry)
Thursday – Sunday: 09:15 – 15:30 (last entry).
