The hall of honor of Pelișor Castle

🎨The Peleș National Museum will open on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the Hall of Honor of Pelișor Castle, the temporary graphic exhibition "The Crown and the Homeland" by artist Adina Romanescu.
A graduate of the University of Art in Bucharest, Faculty of History and Theory of Art, Art Pedagogy Section, class of Prof. Dr. Henry Mavrodin, Adina Romanescu is a painter, graphic artist, book illustrator and member of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania. A complex artist, collaborator of the Leviathan Cultural Magazine and teacher at the "Nicolae Iorga" Theoretical High School in Bucharest, Adina Romanescu has held numerous personal exhibitions in the country and abroad, including: "Honor to Heroes", "Parallel Visions", "Pietra e cuore" - at the Italian Institute of Culture "Vito Grasso" in Bucharest, "Blaga's Poetry", "Brel - mille visages", "Egypt" - at the Goethe Institute in Cairo, "Shadows" - at Silpakorn University in Bangkok and at the Century Park Hotel in Manila.
"I dream, like Jacques Brel, an idol of mine, of a workshop "with almost no walls"... Last but not least, I want to keep my enthusiasm, joy, emotion and impatience to smell the oil colors; I want to always have my hands stained with pigments, and my mind invaded by the obsession of the canvas attacked by the palette knife and caressed by the gentle strands of the brush." - declared Adina Romanescu in an interview in 2021.
At the opening of the exhibition "Crown and Homeland", which the artist dedicates to her teacher, Henry Mavrodin, art historian Liliana Popa will speak.
The exhibition will remain on display until March 29, 2025 and will be open to the public for free, according to the Pelișor Castle visiting schedule.
