Dear visitors

Peleș and Pelișor Castles are the most visited historical monuments in Romania. In order to protect them and their exceptional heritage, entrance tickets are purchased on hourly intervals, limited to 2000 people/day at Peleș Castle and 1500 people/day at Pelișor Castle.

The Peleș National Museum does not manage parking for visitors.
Pets are not allowed in the museum, except for service dogs that support people with disabilities.
The entrance fee is individual; no group discounts are given.
Entrance fees are in accordance with Order No. 2726/25.03.2025 of the Ministry of Culture.
The reduced fee is granted based on supporting documents (student card, pupil's ID card, pension coupon, ID card, passport, etc.)
In order to benefit from the discount applied to visiting tickets, seniors (65+) are asked to present an identity document (ID, passport) stating their CNP.
Young Euro card holders <26 benefit from a 75% discount on the prices of all ticket categories, according to provision number 3923/28.06.2005 of the Ministry of Culture.
Tickets can be purchased online, at www.bilete.peles.ro, or at the ticket office inside Pelișor Castle.
The ticket must be kept by visitors for the entire duration of the visit.
Tickets can be paid for in cash or by bank card.
The tax invoice is issued on the day of the visit, and payment is made by cash or bank card. The Peleș National Museum does not assume responsibility for failure to comply with the visiting schedule, so the value of a visit not made cannot be reimbursed.
Please keep the receipt issued by the POS and check the accuracy of the amount entered, as any error can only be corrected on the day the bank transaction was made.

Free Visit

Benefit from free museum entrance tickets, based on supporting documents:

for official delegations, as well as for other cultural delegations, within the limits of the museum's operating schedule, according to OM 2407/24.09.2009;
for employees of the museum network, the Ministry of Culture and the decentralized services of the Ministry of Culture, according to OM 2407/24.09.2009;
for preschool children (up to 7 years of age), according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for children up to 18 years of age, who have special needs or are disabled, as well as for the person accompanying the child up to 18 years of age with a disability, according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for children up to 18 years of age to whom social protection measures are applied, according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for adults with serious or severe disabilities, as well as for the person accompanying them, according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for children up to 18 years of age, during the holidays, according to OM 2407/24.09.2009;
for pupils and students who are Romanian citizens outside the country's borders, scholarship holders of the Romanian state, OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for holders of "Euro 26" cards, up to 30 years of age, on the 26th of each month, when it falls on a day when the institution is open to the public; if the 26th falls on a day when the institution is closed to the public, then the free admission is granted on the working day immediately following Monday, OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for pensioners from the museum network, holders of certificates/identifications for free access, according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for ICOM card holders, according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
for accompanying teacher, for a number of 20 visiting students, when visiting Pelișor Castle; according to OM. 3381/ 30.09.2022;
for visiting Peleș Castle, for a number of 20 visiting students, an accompanying teacher benefits from a discount of 75% from the adult visitor rate;
for pensioners, on October 1, when the International Day of Older Persons is celebrated, according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009;
employees of the National Research Institute for Conservation and Restoration;
media representatives;
Adults with moderate and mild disabilities benefit from a 75% discount on the adult admission fee for museums under the Ministry of Culture, according to OM. 2407/ 24.09.2009.

Photographs and videos taken inside the Peleș and Pelișor castles are permitted for personal use only. Their publication on the Internet (including online social media platforms such as Facebook or YouTube) is strictly prohibited. Violation is punishable according to the law in force.
Photography and filming by professionals are possible only on the basis of a service contract concluded between the two parties and with the approval of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity as well as the National Commission for Collections and Monuments.
Flash photography is not allowed in museums.

visiting regulations

The visiting regulations must be respected by all visitors to the two monument castles, Peleș and Pelișor.

1. It is forbidden to touch the heritage pieces on display or the paneling that decorates the rooms.

2. Peleș and Pelișor Castles are the most visited in Romania, so there may be periods of maximum crowding. Please be patient, keep quiet and show respect for other visitors.

3If the visiting public causes inconvenience to museum staff or other visitors, or if the exhibited heritage is put at risk, access is denied and the competent authorities will be notified.

4. Violent or insulting attitudes towards museum staff or visitors are not tolerated.

5. Pets are not allowed, except for service dogs that support people with disabilities.

6. Arrive at the museum early. It is not pleasant to have plans to visit Peleș Castle and have it closed. Study the visiting schedule and plan your way to the museum in advance.

7. Photography or filming inside the castles is permitted only after paying the corresponding fee (the exact fee is on the fees page). Photos and videos taken are only for PERSONAL use, they cannot be published (including on the internet) without the written consent of the Peleș National Museum.

Attention: Photos cannot be taken using flashes or any kind of light that leads to degradation of the exhibits.
The use of tripods is not permitted.
The Peleș National Museum is a trademark registered with the Romanian Office of Inventions and Trademarks, with numbers 056269 of 03.11.1999 (Pelișor Castle) and 056270 of 03.11.1999 (Peleș Castle).

8. Food or drink is not allowed in the museum.

9. Smoking is prohibited in the Peleș National Museum.

10. To make your visit easier, you can leave clothes, umbrellas, backpacks or other personal belongings at the museum's cloakroom.

11. During the visit, you are asked to remain quiet and have a moral conduct, which is required in a cultural institution.

12. Decent attire is expected for visiting the museum.

13. The Peleș National Museum does not manage parking for visitors.
