The visiting regulations must be respected by all visitors to the two monument castles, Peleș and Pelișor.
1. It is forbidden to touch the heritage pieces on display or the paneling that decorates the rooms.
2. Peleș and Pelișor Castles are the most visited in Romania, so there may be periods of maximum crowding. Please be patient, keep quiet and show respect for other visitors.
3If the visiting public causes inconvenience to museum staff or other visitors, or if the exhibited heritage is put at risk, access is denied and the competent authorities will be notified.
4. Violent or insulting attitudes towards museum staff or visitors are not tolerated.
5. Pets are not allowed, except for service dogs that support people with disabilities.
6. Arrive at the museum early. It is not pleasant to have plans to visit Peleș Castle and have it closed. Study the visiting schedule and plan your way to the museum in advance.
7. Photography or filming inside the castles is permitted only after paying the corresponding fee (the exact fee is on the fees page). Photos and videos taken are only for PERSONAL use, they cannot be published (including on the internet) without the written consent of the Peleș National Museum.
- Attention: Photos cannot be taken using flashes or any kind of light that leads to degradation of the exhibits.
- The use of tripods is not permitted.
- The Peleș National Museum is a trademark registered with the Romanian Office of Inventions and Trademarks, with numbers 056269 of 03.11.1999 (Pelișor Castle) and 056270 of 03.11.1999 (Peleș Castle).
8. Food or drink is not allowed in the museum.
9. Smoking is prohibited in the Peleș National Museum.
10. To make your visit easier, you can leave clothes, umbrellas, backpacks or other personal belongings at the museum's cloakroom.
11. During the visit, you are asked to remain quiet and have a moral conduct, which is required in a cultural institution.
12. Decent attire is expected for visiting the museum.
13. The Peleș National Museum does not manage parking for visitors.
